As a kid, I always hated anything having to do with lemons.
Well, let me recant that statement, I hated candies, cakes, and popsicles flavored with lemon but I LOVED lemonade. My sisters and I would always fight over who would get stuck with the lemon flavored whatever in my grandma’s candy dish or the lemon popsicle in the freezer. It’s funny how things change as we age because now, I love me some lemon flavored desserts!
This lemon bar recipe is nothing short of stellar. I found this tart little gem on Facebook. The filling is rich and creamy while the crust is buttery and flaky. Talk about the perfect crumb! Did I mention this yummy treat is dusted with powder sugar?
If you’re looking for a simple yet satisfying dessert to take to an event or church potluck consider making these butter-crusted lemon bars. Trust me, there won’t be any complaints!

Quick Tip: Don’t have any powdered sugar? No problem! Place a 1/2 cup of white granulated sugar into a blender and pulse until a fine powder forms.
