Cans, cans, and more cans. Every time I went into the pantry I was overwhelmed with how many cans of different vegetables, beans, and other food there were. I am not always the best at estimating what we are going to need, and I don’t want to not have enough. So, as a result, cans, cans, and more cans. It was starting to get a little overwhelming, and the pantry was a mess.
I was considering tossing them or donating them to a food pantry, when I came across this recipe on The Pioneer Woman. It was just what I was looking for! A way to get rid of all my extra cans without sacrificing a delicious meal.
I’ll admit, I was skeptical at first that there was any way possible that this was going to taste good. Boy was I surprised when I tried a bite. It was delish! I will use this recipe whenever my pantry door doesn’t seem to want to shut again because of the over abundance of canned foods.
