It was that time of the year again… hunting season. My husband and son always spend their lives out in the shed with all of their buddies telling stories in between sessions out in the field. All that talking sure does seem to drum up an appetite, and before long they were calling me to say that they were getting hungry. They suggested ordering some pizzas to give them that much needed boost of energy.
Little did they know that I had found this recipe on All Recipes a few days earlier and knew this was going to happen before they did. Instead of delivering cardboard flavored take out pizzas, I brought them a fresh, steaming, crock pot of this beer and beef stew with a pot of mashed potatoes.
