My dad just loves cheesecake. He can’t seem to ever get enough of the stuff. So for this year’s birthday celebration at his house, I decided that I would try and make one. It was the first time I had ever attempted it. I did a quick search online and stumbled on this recipe from All Recipes. It seemed simple enough and pretty versatile so I thought I would give it my best effort.
When I set it down in front of Dad his eyes lit right up. Okay, well it looks good, but how does it taste? When he bit into it he gave that half eyes closed nod of approval that I was hoping for.
He finished off his piece quicker than I had ever seen anyone eat cheesecake before in my life. When he asked for a second piece, Mom handed it right over, because, hey, it’s the man’s birthday! I’ll be making this again next yer per his request.
