It was another trip to the grocery store with the same ol’ list that I’d been writing week after week. This time, I tried something different though and instead of specifying what kind of meat to get, I just wrote “meat.” Well, it just so happened that pork chops were on sale when I was there so I bought a nice package. I figured if nothing else, I could throw them in the freezer until I could figure out what to do them.
I honestly don’t make pork chops too often because I don’t know how to season them or cook them without them getting tough and rubbery. Instead of letting these little chops sit in the freezer for months on end, I decided to do a quick search for pork chop recipes. That’s when this little gem popped up on my screen.
They looked delicious! The best part was, I had everything on the ingredients list already in my house. I made them and they were the best pork chops I’ve ever had!
Even my husband was impressed…he knows I’m not the best cook when it comes to using this kind of meat. The next time pork chops go on sale, we will for sure be making these again!

Quick Tip: If you don’t have onion gravy mix, double the cream of mushroom soup.
