My kids are famous for inviting friends to come home with them on the weekends for sleepovers. Usually, I don’t find out about these kinds of plans until I have two or three extra kids wandering around my house. Now, I love to have them there, don’t get me wrong, but teenagers eat…A LOT! It’s nearly impossible to keep enough food in stock just for my own kids, much less extras. That’s why I love this recipe from Group Recipes. All of the ingredients can easily be kept on hand for those impromptu slumber parties.
After staying up to all hours of the night, I think the kids are in a little better mood when they smell these coming from the oven. Everyone wakes up eager to start the day, and excited to try my cinnamon rolls. I always have to make at least a double batch, depending on the size of the sleepover, and they disappear pretty fast. Everyone runs off with a full belly and thanks me for feeding them. Hey, I’m happy to do it with a recipe this good!
