The Corniest Cheesebake You’ll Ever Meet

Whether it’s a winter chili or a summer BBQ, we love to have cornbread with our meals. It helps to fill up our large family without having to make a ton of entrees and side dishes. By adding a small chunck of bread, everyone is satisfied. It was last summer that we had this Group Recipes cornbake at my Aunt Melanie’s house. I wasn’t quite sure about cheese and corn together, something just sounded funny. And it wasn’t the cornbread I was used to. She reassured me it was good though so I gave it a try. Good was an understatement! This was the best side I ever had.

The cheese and the corn actually went very well together much to my surprise. It’s usually impossible to get my kids to eat any kind of vegetable, but they didn’t hesitate to go back for seconds of this. I was sure to have Aunt Mel write down the recipe before we left. I’ve made it a few times since then and it’s always a crowd favorite.
