I’ll Have A Triple Order, Please!
If you are lactose intolerant or have something against dairy products, I think you should back away from the computer right about now. You see, this cake is all about dairy. Mm-hmm! There’s all kinds of milk involved, and cream on top of everything else. Super, SUPER delicious!
I think most of us have tasted tres leches cake or at least heard of it at some point, but this recipe from Once Upon A Chef truly leaves others behind. First, you bake the cake. Then you add the awesome soaking mixture (by the way it smells so good, you would almost want to drink it right from the bowl). And finally, you pour the incredible dulce de leche glaze on top of the whole thing.
It is heaven on Earth, and I’m assuming this is what angels are having for dinner every day, above the clouds. I certainly wouldn’t mind having a big, fat slice of this cake every single day! Although my scale would probably object. Give this cake a try and let me know what you think!
