All of our friends know that whenever one of us needs a favor from the other, the best way to go about it is to offer food. The one who needs a favor will call everyone and invite everyone for dinner or lunch in his or her house. Since we all schedule our get-togethers, we will instantly know what the dinner or lunch is for. So we always phone in our request for a particular dish that we know is the specialty of the one who needs the favor. It’s not actually bribery because we are friends and friends always help each other no matter what. It’s more of like a “thank you” thing in advance.
We always look forward to going at Winona’s whenever she invites us for meals. Winona cooks the best meat; and being meat lovers, we are always excited to taste her recipes. A few weeks ago, Winona needed our help for her sister’s wedding so she called all of us and invited us for dinner. She served us a lot of food including this Caesar pork chops that tasted really flavorful. She didn’t actually need to ask. She had us at our first bite of those yummy pork chops!
