You can bring this to potlucks or even family dinners. They will truly appreciate these biscuits. One of my cousins love dipping this in gravy. Another loves dipping the biscuits in sour cream. Another loves pairing them with chili. It’s up to you how you want to enjoy these biscuits! I personally, enjoy eating them with garlic-butter sauce or Ranch dressing. However, good old fashioned butter will do just fine, too.
Our friend over at Food.com has this to say about this recipe:
“These are copycats of the delicious “Cheddar Bay Biscuits” served at Red Lobster!”
They taste just like the original thing. I have eaten at Red Lobster a lot of times before, and I always order this. The good thing about this too is that it’s truly easy to make. So when you find yourself craving for those Red Lobster cheddar biscuits, remember that you can make your own using this easy recipe.
2 cups Bisquick
2⁄3 cup Borden milk
1⁄2 cup Sargento cheddar cheese, shredded
1⁄2 cup Land O Lakes butter or 1⁄2 cup Land O Lakes margarine, melted
1⁄4 teaspoon McCormick garlic powder
Heat oven to 450 degrees.
Mix Bisquick, milk and cheese until a soft dough forms.
Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 6-8 minutes or until golden brown.
Mix butter or margarine and garlic powder.
Brush mixture over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.
