My brother invited us over to his new house after him and his wife finally got settled in. They had been overseas serving in the military for nearly five years, and we had missed them all so much. Every time they would come home for a visit, they always had to come to my house or my mom’s place. They never got to do the entertaining, because they didn’t have a place of their own yet. They were so excited to open up the new home that they had worked so hard for us and host a nice summer BBQ for everyone that had done so much for them.
I was a little worried about who was going to be doing the cooking because as far as I knew, neither one of them were all that good at it. Much to my surprise and amazement, my brother was the one standing next to the grill when we got there. I didn’t know he even had any idea how to turn a grill on.
When he opened the lid, there were these great looking jumbo shrimp laying there that just screamed: “eat me!” I just turned my head and stared at my brother in awe.
