It’s Time To Beef Up Dinner With This Bovine-Laden Rice Bake!

When I was growing up my mother frequently prepared casseroles for our family to eat.

I also grew up in a Mennonite household so our church was always putting on potluck suppers and mom would quite often bring a casserole dish to pass. In all actuality, many of the ladies that attended my church would be some form of a casserole. I always loved these dinners because the food was so amazingly good!

One dish that I can remember quite vividly was a ground beef and rice bake. Boy oh boy, was that stuff ever filling! Each ingredient complimented the next with such robust flavor! I was all too happy to see this recipe for beefy rice casserole on the Mr. Food website.

I think I had sort of forgotten about this little gem and how much I adored eating it. Making beefy rice casserole isn’t hard at all and it only requires a few staple ingredients that you probably have put up in your pantry. Isn’t it great when you don’t need to make a special trip to the grocery store?
