The other day, I was all out of ideas for dinner. Lately I’ve been making all kinds of “fancy dishes”, and I don’t even know why! It’s not like I need to impress my husband with restaurant-style meals, haha! So, I was tired of cordon bleu, Asian dishes, every type of pasta, and even pizza. I had also cooked ground beef in so many different styles that I sure wasn’t going to make anything related to it.
What on Earth could I make for dinner? I was getting a headache just thinking about it, and I finally decided to ask my husband if he had any ideas. What surprised me was that he immediately knew what he wanted to eat!
He told me about this stew his mother used to make when he and his brother were little. He said he had suddenly thought of it last week, but forgot to mention it to me. Unfortunately, his mom didn’t have the recipe anymore, but I found this one and my husband said it tasted exactly like the one he had as a kid!
