Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas Topped With Bubbly Cheese

My husband took one bite of this carnitas and instantly fainted. Ik, he didn’t faint but he was really pleased by how tasty the meat was 🙂

Seriously, my husband had a super bold reaction to this carnitas pork meat. He said that it was seasoned perfectly and the meat couldn’t have been any more tender if I ran over it with the car a few times. Um, wow, ok, is that a compliment? HAHA! Anyway, the recipe on the next page is very easy to follow and requires just a handful of seasonings that you probably already have in your pantry. All the magic happens in your slow cooker.

When I served the carnitas I laid our all of the common taco-type fixings and we sort of had a buffet-style meal. The kids enjoyed adding the topping that they liked to their carnitas.
