Simple Tater Tot Casserole With A Cheddar Twist

Sometimes it’s funny to watch your friends or your sibling or relative feed his or her child.

It’s amusing because some kids are really too intelligent for their own good. They know when you’re trying to get them to eat something you know they don’t like to eat, so they refuse to open their mouths even when you get angry at them. They don’t even know what’s on it! All they know is that they don’t like it which is why they don’t know what is it. Kids remember their favorite food, and that’s a bit tricky to mask. Sometimes though, it’s frustrating too if you’re the one experiencing it. And since I am mostly surrounded by cousins and my brother (they all lived nearby) and I’m the only one who sometimes works from home, I struggle with that type of experience.

I tried the “this tastes so good and it will be healthy for you” speech, but I never got far with it. The best thing to do is to make a dish full of their favorite food and add other ingredients underneath it. A bit sneaky, but needed. It will be a bonus if said dish is also something that the adults will love. It’s hitting two birds with one stone—you don’t have to cook two dishes. This recipe from Recipe Lion is the answer to that.
