When my daughter got married last year, she decided that they were going to do an outdoor wedding reception.
We have a very large property with some pretty backdrops, so I suggested they just rent the necessary equipment and have it at our house. How easy, and how affordable, right? She thought that was a fine plan so that’s what we did. Now, because we live out in the country, there wasn’t much as far as hotel accommodations for people to pick from.
I told her she should just have people stay at our house, bring their campers, or even put up tents. It was going to be a beautiful day and night, so it could be a lot of fun. She and her husband-to-be both thought that was a fine idea.
So, that’s what we did. The party turned out grand, and everyone stayed the night. In the morning, we had some leftovers from dinner, and I made up about six of these breakfast casseroles from JChew Out Loud. What a great idea again!
