These Pizza Tarts Are What Happiness Tastes Like

When my sister finally got pregnant with her first child, I was over the moon. I already had a five year old little boy, and I couldn’t wait for him to have a playmate. Thankfully, she and her husband didn’t wait too long, or they really would have nothing in common. You see, family is extremely important to me and I want to instill that same virtue on my boy. It’s not the easiest thing to do when he’s hanging out with adults all the time though.

So, when she announced they were expecting, I took the reins on the party planning for the baby shower. I took over decorations, venue, menu, everything. As I was coming up with what we were going to serve, she suggested that we start with a light appetizer, knowing that half of our family would be late, she didn’t want the other half starving while they waited.

What a great idea! I found these mini pizza tarts on Group Recipes and figured it was the ticket. Me and a few of the cousins whipped these together in no time the day of the event. The trays went around full and came back empty.

I think that means that people loved them, or they really were starving. I tasted them and thought they were fantastic!
