Valentine’s Day is so wonderful! There is such a sweet feeling in the air, and even if you do not have a significant other, it is just a time of loving on your family and those you care about. My sister and I absolutely love everything about Valentine’s Day. Long before I was married and when she was still single, we loved to make Valentine’s significant for each other, our parents and grandma by giving them a nice gift that was sure to please them. We searched long and hard for a wonderful gift idea until we found it: a yearly scrapbook!
We would make a scrapbook complete with all the memories from the previous year! Somewhere along the way, it got so popular, I decided to start the same tradition as a gift to my husband. I did not know if he would really appreciate it, but gosh, he loves it!
He loves going through the book and seeing the memories we made together in the previous year. Even more so, he loves when I make him a batch of some delicious cookies to enjoy while flipping through the pages of that scrapbook. It has become a yearly tradition we both look forward to.
