Pinching Pennies Macaroni And Beef Casserole

Whenever my daughter sees that we are having hamburger for dinner, she assumes that its going to be spaghetti or an accompaniment to that boxed meal that comes with rice or noodles. Although it’s not our favorite thing to eat, it’s affordable and easy to make.

I thought it was the only way to get dinner on the table without spending a fortune, until I came across this recipe on Recipe Lion. I took one look at the ingredients list and knew that it was going to be one that we could keep on hand without worrying about the cost.

The true test was going to come when I made it though. It was very simple to put together, and it cooked up pretty quickly. When my kids saw it they looked a little unsure, but they know that the rule is to at least try it before you say that you don’t like something.

After they took their first nibble, they couldn’t get enough. They asked that I make it again soon and we have it pretty regularly now around our dinner table.
