The Perfect Noodles For Picky Eaters

Growing up, whenever I didn’t like the main entree that was being served, usually goulash, my mom would give me two options, peanut butter and jelly, or buttered noodles. Whenever it was goulash, I usually didn’t get the PB and J option. She was already boiling noodles, so she just left a few out and served me buttered noodles. She knew I wasn’t going to eat that other stuff. I only wish that she had this recipe from Julie’s Eats & Treats back then.

I found it and have been using it ever since for my kids that don’t like what I am serving. My son especially, hardly ever eats what we are having. This goes together so quickly though, I don’t even mind making him a separate meal anymore.

I can just cook it up right along with whatever else I am making. Sometimes we will even use it as a side dish to our main course. Everyone in my family likes it. There really isn’t any reason not to. Pasta and cheese?  You can’t go wrong with that!

I like egg noodles much better… but you are right. add cheese to anything… not just noodles and you’ll get your kids to eat it.
