We usually do a potluck dinner at our church once a month after services.
We need to refuel after all that praising of the Lord! It also gives everyone a chance to socialize a little bit more than a “Hi!” and “Bye” as we cross paths coming and going. The ladies there really know how to whip up some amazing foods too so I never miss it. One Sunday, among the dozens of casseroles, stood out this little beauty.
It was like one I had never seen before. I took a small helping because what if I didn’t like it? We can’t waste food. It was so good!
I had to go back for seconds. Thankfully, I got the last little bit in the pan. Then I could see who made it because her name was written on the bottom of the dish. I approached her and told her how amazing the casserole was.
She said she found it on Facebook and gave me the recipe. I love making this at home!
