I just can’t stand seeing anyone in my family feeling sad, sick, or just completely depressed. A poor score on a test, a new strain of the flu, and missing that once in a lifetime opportunity at work can all be the reasons for bringing anyone down. As the mom, I feel like it is my job to take care of everyone, no matter what is going on in their lives. When I was a kid, my mom always made the best chicken noodle soup.
Whenever we were feeling less than 100%, she knew it and would whip up a batch for us. It seemed like a weight would be lifted off the house and everyone would get to feeling normal again in no time. Now, it is my time to do that for my family.
That is why I went and searched for the perfect chicken soup. I found it in this recipe on Just A Pinch. When two of my kids picked up the same stomach bug, it was like everything came to a screeching halt.
I had to do something. I made up this chicken noodle soup and everyone, even the sick ones, enjoyed it very much. It wasn’t long and our household was operating like a fine-tuned engine once again and I was one happy Mama!
