Jump For Joy German Cinnamon Apple Cake

Making apple cake is one of the easiest ways to use up apples that are on the verge of going bad. I prefer granny Smith apples when making a cake but you can essentially use any type of apple that you have on hand. My sister told me that she used Pink lady apples in this recipe before and the cake turned out super moist with almost a juiciness about it. Hmm, I’ll have to try that sometime as it sounds interesting!

This cake is wonderful to share with a friend with a cup of coffee. I truly believe it is desserts like this that inspire great conversation and laughter. Eating and friendship are my two favorite things.
