It rarely snows where I live, so whenever it does snow, I am happy. I love watching the snowflakes falling from the sky and landing on the ground, covering it with what seemed like white clouds from the heavens. It also gives me that sense of peace because they look like angel tears. It’s as if the angels are crying to make people happy on earth. It’s their way of sharing with us a piece of the paradise they are experiencing.
Okay, I am getting poetic. I am sorry. That’s just how snow affects me.
Whenever it snows, I find myself sitting at the window seat by my living room while watching them fall from the sky. I usually have a cup of hot coffee in one hand and a plate of a delicious pie to accompany the coffee and my mood. A perfect pie for such a scenario is a hazelnut pie.
