How To Turn A Simple Fish Fillet Into A Feast Of A Meal

I stay away from pregnant friends as much as I can. At least during the night. Don’t get me wrong – pregnancy is a wonderful thing and I’m very happy for them! But there’s one strange thing that all my pregnant friends have had in common. During the day, they are perfectly normal human beings like the rest of us. But during the night, it is a completely different situation.

They turn into these monsters who wake you up in the middle of the night and demand for food that you couldn’t possibly get at the wee hours. And then they would growl at you or cry, whichever works best, if you do not immediately cater to their demands.

Okay, so I am exaggerating a little. The monster thing is a metaphor. But you know what I mean!

I feel a little sorry for their husbands. I have a friend who had to ring my doorbell in the middle of the night just to ask if I have watermelons in the fridge because his wife was demanding for one. It was 2:30 in the morning in the middle of the winter!

Alice is one of those who don’t particularly have midnight cravings. However, she is obsessed with fish. She will devour any fish recipe whenever she sees one.

Her husband says that her recent favorite is this lemon baked cod recipe that her mother made for her one time. And since she always demands it, her husband had to look for a recipe similar to her mother’s.

He was able to find one and he showed me where I can find it. I am sharing the recipe to you in the next page. I hope you will enjoy the recipe as much as Alice and her baby do!

Quick Tip: Let it “set up” in the refrigerator with the breading, before cooking, so it dries out a bit.

I was so excited to see this and this is the way I do my fish and I was all set to do so as I always have fish filets in my freezer, and lo and behold all I have is a pound of hamburg, so it’s a no go this time but for sure the next time I have some but I do not use cod, I use flounder, not to mention cod is becoming more expensive now that has been overfished but luckily it was caught before it got out of hand.
