I don’t know about you guys and gals but I am a hopeless romantic for chicken wings. I like them dressed in all sorts of sauces and seasonings, especially honey mustard. This sauce is so super easy to make and it is seriously economical, too! It’s always great when you can make a restaurant-quality food for just pennies on the dollar. Chicken wings are not expensive to buy at the store and are seriously a lot cheaper than chicken breasts. I often buy them by the 5-pound bagful when they go on sale at my local grocery market.
You’ll probably have most of the ingredients in this recipe on hand in your pantry. Almost everyone has mustard. If you don’t have any honey in your kitchen and you need to buy some this will probably be your costliest ingredient. Try and purchase it local, if at all possible.
I made these honey mustard chicken wings for a football party appetizer last fall. My husband and his buddies really loved them and so did us gals. It’s safe to say that these wings were a real “touchdown”!
