Forget Everything You Knew About Pizza And Try This!

Our youth group at the church has a lock-in once a year. That’s where all the kids come to the church hall for the night with a group of trusted volunteer adults. We lock everyone in for the entire night and we watch movies, play games, and enjoy some prayer time. It’s not always easy making it through those long nights, but I do usually go as a volunteer to support the event and keep an eye on my own kids. Part of the evening includes food of course. We try and keep it fun with appetizers, snacks, and usually a carry out pizza.

This year though, me and some of the other adults got together and thought it would be fun for the kids to get in the kitchen and make the pizza themselves. One of the recipes that was presented was this one for garlic chicken pizza from Group Recipes. When it was baking, it turned the whole kitchen into Italy for a minute.

All that yummy garlic and other seasonings. Yum. It tasted even better than what it smelled. I ate several pieces and suggested they make another…you know, if you want.

I was sure to snag that recipe before walking out the doors that morning. Now I make it at home all the time for my family.
