Over to Grandma and Grandpa’s we went for our normal Sunday evening meal. We always went and ate with them because we knew they got lonely just the two of them. They were always so excited to see my little boy and just the couple hours we spent there meant the world to them. It meant the world to me too. And a bonus was that I didn’t have to cook.
Grandma and Grandpa always took care of that part. This particular day they put together a chicken casserole Grams said she found on the internet on a site called Recipe Lion. She told me how easy it was to make and how cheap all of the ingredients were.
It was just too big of a dish for two people so she waited for us to come to make it. Boy, was I glad she did. It was delightful.
I got the recipe from her before we left and made it again at our house the following week. It was just as good the second time!
