A Cornbread Chicken Pot Pie That Will Take You Back In Time

Whenever my mom used to make pot pies she would always serve it with a side of bread. It was either a biscuit, french bread slice, bread sticks, or once in a while, cornbread. The cornbread chicken potpie combination was always my favorite flavor. I made it a few times when I got older but it was a lot of work. I started to understand why my mom didn’t make it very often.

Then I fell on this recipe from Recipe Lion. Two of my favorite things in one easy dish. How wonderful!

The first time I made it I was so excited when I started to smell the cornbread cooking. It sure brought back some good memories and left me feeling warm and fuzzy all over. Then, when I bit into it, magic.

This was by far the best pie I had ever made. And it was so cheap because I didn’t have to buy a special pie crust. Quick, affordable, and delicious. Now that’s what I’m talking about!
