My mother makes the most delicious blueberry cake in the world. I’m not just saying this because she’s my Mom – the cake really is stupendous! Every single person that ever was fortunate enough to taste it, always said it was out of this world. Even to this day I have no idea what she does that makes it so delicious.
She doesn’t have a recipe for her blueberry cake, or for anything, really. “I just throw in a little bit of this and a little bit of that”, she tries to explain whenever I ask her for directions. There’s just no way anyone could ever copy her cakes!
So, I had lost hope of ever making anything that would come even close to that cake – until I came across this recipe from Good Morning Gloucester. It looked so delish that I just had to give it a try – and boy, am I glad I did!
