Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies: Just Like Grandma Used To Make!

The best dang cookies I’ve had in years!

Road trips are relaxing to me. It just feels nice to just pack a few clothes one weekend and drive until I reach certain places. I do that alone sometimes, but I love doing it most with either my boyfriend or with my friends. Usually, for these road trips, we pack our essentials. Essentials usually mean water, food, and clothes. We don’t want to make too many stopovers so we usually bring everything with us.

Recently, we had this impromptu road trip. My contribution were these delicious buttescotch oatmeal cookies that I had made a couple of days earlier. It’s butterscotch and oatmeal in one heavenly cookie. My first batch didn’t actually taste chewy. They were quite hard and I had to throw the batch because they really couldn’t be eaten without someone’s tooth breaking.

The second batch was amazing! The cookies were just as perfect as I wanted them, and my friends enjoyed them during the whole drive. I guess that’s a success! I am sharing with you this recipe in the next page. I hope you will love making and eating them!
